More information about the workshops for gifted and talented young sports people

JAE supports young athletes with a series of interactive workshops
The JAE Life-skills Workshops focus on six aspects of performance lifestyle management: performance improvement, goal setting, time management, team YOU, communication and planning. The aim is to empower young talented performers with the skills needed to balance the conflicting challenges of their sport, studies and life.

Performance parents workshops
A Workshop for parents of gifted and talented young sports people
As part of the JAE programme, teachers are trained and resourced to deliver workshop to parents of elite young performers
The workshop reinforces the messages delivered in the six workshops for the young athletes
It gives parents:
• the opportunity to ask questions about their child's involvement in the programme and see what support their child will receive
• a better understanding of the needs and high demands made upon gifted and talented young athletes by both the sport and the school
• the opportunity to see what effective part they can play in Team You and how to be an active member of this team.
